AML & Financial Crime Statement

Last reviewed: 30 August 2026

1.Our commitment

Disruptive Labs Ltd, operator of Treasure Chess®, is committed to preventing money laundering, terrorist financing, fraud, sanctions evasion and all other forms of financial crime on our platform. We operate a zero-tolerance policy and we support the objectives of the UK Money Laundering, Terrorist Financing and Transfer of Funds (Information on the Payer) Regulations 2017, the Proceeds of Crime Act 2002, the Terrorism Act 2000 and applicable UK sanctions legislation.

2.How our compliance framework works

  • Verified identities. Every account must complete identity verification before paid features can be used. We verify name, age and address through specialist verification providers, and every player competes under a single verified identity.
  • Regulated financial partners. Fiat payments are processed by regulated third-party payment processors. Fiat-to-crypto and crypto-to-fiat conversions are provided by independent, regulated on/off-ramp partners, who perform their own KYC, AML, sanctions screening and transaction monitoring as regulated businesses. We never receive, hold or transmit customer fiat funds in on/off-ramp transactions.
  • Sanctions and jurisdiction screening. We do not provide the Services to persons on applicable sanctions lists or in comprehensively sanctioned or restricted jurisdictions, and we use geolocation and screening measures to enforce this.
  • Transaction and gameplay monitoring. We monitor platform activity for indicators of fraud, collusion, cheating, structuring and other suspicious behaviour, and may use blockchain analytics tools to assess the risk of connected wallets.
  • Skill-based only. Treasure Chess® hosts skill-based chess competition only. We do not offer, and do not permit the platform to be used for, gambling, betting or wagering of any kind.
  • Age controls. The Services are restricted to adults aged 18 and over.

3.Reporting and cooperation

We report suspicious activity to the relevant authorities where the law requires, and we cooperate with law enforcement, regulators and our banking, payment and on/off-ramp partners in the investigation and prevention of financial crime. We may suspend accounts, decline transactions and retain records for these purposes, and UK anti-money-laundering standards may require us to keep relevant records for five years after our relationship with a customer ends.
